About the Host: Noah Brown

Noah Brown is a Denton native with a lifelong passion for the stories hidden in plain sight around this vibrant university town. Born and raised just blocks from the historic courthouse square, Noah spent his childhood exploring the maze of antique shops on the square, weekend mornings at the Denton Community Market, and summer evenings at free concerts in Civic Center Park with his family.

A former marketing consultant turned local business advocate, Noah spent over a decade helping small businesses across North Texas build their brands. But it wasn’t until he started documenting Denton’s entrepreneurial renaissance that he realized the most compelling stories weren’t happening in corporate boardrooms. They were unfolding in the renovated warehouses of the Arts & Jazz District, the family kitchens that became food trucks, and the passion projects that transformed into thriving local institutions.

Denton Discoveries was born from Noah’s belief that every great city is defined by its independent businesses and the dreamers who dare to open their doors. Each episode takes listeners behind the counter, into the kitchen, or onto the production floor to meet the entrepreneurs, artists, and innovators who make Denton more than just another college town.

When he’s not recording interviews or hunting down Denton’s next hidden gem, you can find Noah sampling breakfast tacos at a different spot each weekend, browsing vinyl at Recycled Books, or walking the trails at Clear Creek Natural Heritage Center. He believes that Denton’s soul lives in its locally-owned establishments, and he’s on a mission to introduce you to every single one.
